I came across these in a 1949 issue of Popular Mechanics. I put these here for the entertainment value only I don't endorse the building of either of these things. I think that the porcelain in the sink would would chip and fly off in a violent manner if you exposed it to the heat of a coal fire. The little power hammer looks too light to be of much use.
