1. Groll at Duquesne University
John Groll is a major fabricator in the Pittsburgh area. His family business has been a major asset to the area. His company has made and fabricated many works in the Pittsburgh area and can easily be seen at Phipps Conservatory, major Universities and public areas. His shop is located in the South Side.

2. & 3. Smithfield Bridge and Bessemer Furnace
The Smithfield Bridge is a highlight to see in Pittsburgh. It can be seen from the Southside at Station Square. There are also steel making installations on view for the public that recounts Pittsburgh as a major steel making industry.

6. Blum Collection
Louis Blum was an important smith in the Pittsburgh area. A collection of his work can be seen on the sixth floor of the History Center, which is located in the Strip District.

7, 8 & 9 Cathedral of Learning on the University of Pittsburgh campus
This is a highlight for the person that is interested in seeing the work of Samuel Yellin. One of the many highlights is the interior doors.(not photographed) Two exterior doors and details of interior railings. Guided tours are available. Definately a "Must See" for those individuals interested in metalwork.

10. & 11. Fort Ligonier
Jymm Hoffman, (PAABA member) is the blacksmith for this historic site. Much of his accurately depicted work can be seen at this fort. This would be of interest to those individuals interested in this time period. His shop is located in Ambridge, Pennsylvania.
